Using ESPN's rankings of non-graduating transfers, Rice lost #12 (Murphy) and #29 (Peterson), but gained #49 (Evee).

This will continue to happen as long as Rice tries to pretend it has a viable men's basketball program.

If that’s what you think, why keep posting? Why even bother to read any of this?

Kind of like "if you disagree with my President, you can leave the country"?

I care about Rice University's maintaining excellence across the board (pun intended). For the same reason I supported Rice's elimination of the Commerce Degree, I am in favor of getting rid of programs that tend to diminish the mission of the university.

I was not aware that posters have to adhere to any arbitrary levels of "support" in order to put forth an opinion. I respect those who support the continuation of men's basketball. I just happen to disagree.

I didn’t ask you to leave. Just wonder why you stay.
