Did you guys see this? 6'10 is a big size!

"Rice men's basketball coach Scott Pera has announced the signing of Max Fiedler (Indialantic, Fla.) to a national letter of intent for the 2019-20 school year, Pera announced Wednesday afternoon.

Fiedler, a 6-10 forward who played for Melbourne High School, led the Bulldogs to a 15-12 record, a district championship and a spot in the regional semifinals. He averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds and four assists while being named First Team All-Cape Coast Conference and Team Most Valuable Player.

"This morning I would like to announce the signing of Max Fiedler," said Pera. "Max is everything we are looking for as a Rice student-athlete. Max is one of the top students in his class as well as a skilled front court player. Max can score on the low block as well as step out and shoot the ball. He checks every box in what we are looking for in a student-athlete and we can't wait to get him on campus."
