I don't think so. Again, we're not the Big 12, we're not the ACC, what power conferences have done have nothing to do with what this conference will do. If this conference goes more and more southwest, Cincinnati, UConn, and Temple are probably going to start considering other long term accommodations. You build the Northeast, you have a solid foothold there, in the Southeast, and lower Midwest. I think every AD knows that's good for every conference member.
Going beyond 12 would be very difficult unless someone says there is additional revenue involved or unless it works better organizationally for the league. I think we are much more likely to see a best of the rest league form if nobody leaves the AAC the next go around.
