As for midweek games and weather, AAC has plenty of those too. If Toledo and WMU came to the AAC they'd be in as many midweek games as the MAC...just not on tuesday or wednesday they'd be on thursday and friday.

Its not a knock on the MAC or the G4 either, its just a huge difference between AAC and the rest.

How is qualifying as better than two current AAC teams not relevant lol? And it’s a huge difference between the P5 and the AAC, last year the P5 with worst attendance averaged 48k, and the AAC averaged 28k, so please don’t act like you’re up there with the P5, I’ll agree that there are some AAC schools that could jump to a P5 conference, but as a conference whole you guys aren’t even close, still G5. Also, Thursday and Friday games are wayyyyy more desirable than a Wednesday or Tuesday, because people don’t have to work the next day.

Yeah we would really find the new #10 school in attendance as an attractive resume. They really do compete well with the smallest school in all of division 1.

If you put WMU or Toledo in the AAC they would bring a lot more to the conference than Tulsa or Tulane, especially in football. If you put Tulane or Tulsa in the MAC or even the Sunbelt, their attendance numbers would plummet.

Tulsa has averaged 20,000 give or take forever, WAC, CUSA, and now AAC. We did better as an independent but also had teams like Texas AnM come here.

But hey let's just look at program numbers.

WMU 18,300 undergrads:

Sugar (2x), Orange, Liberty Bowl (2x), Sun, and a Gator.


We have a couple Freedom and Indepence apprearences to match the level that Toledo and Western Michigan (with one exception) play in.
