Max was an NBA caliber athlete and was much stronger than Gary. I too think there's a chance in the current NBA that Clark's all around game gets him on a roster but I also see why Max was a first round pick and Gary is likely going to be an undrafted free agent.
Speaking of Maxiell, I love him but what is it that NBA teams saw in him that garnered a first round pick that they don't see in Gary. The measurables are similar, both undersized PFs. Maxiell has more a mean streak than Gary but defensive productivity is similar with Gary being an overall more rounded offensive and defensive player. Maybe I'm just suffering from recency bias.
