The date of the above story coincides with the Fall membership application period the NAIA has had in recent years. So it is plausible that SUNO could be a full NAIA post-season eligible member by July 1 2022.

And the presumption is also the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference for SUNO's membership? I believe the GCAC has increased their membership requirements to fill their sport offerings but certainly having another institution in New Orleans that is a HBCU and a former member is too much to pass up?
