SNU was Nevada’s only private university.

Only private university with an athletics program, sure, but there are a few other private non-profit universities operating in the state.

Good luck to those students during the transition. It sucks losing a community like that.

Reading the announcement from SNU, it kinda sounds like they will still be there, just as a public institution. So I think their athletics (such as it is) will continue at least.
