There's probably a lot of D2 people saying it's about time. Oakland City has not played a proper D2 schedule in any sport in a long time, if ever, which made them ineligible for D2 postseason. It seems they have been more interested in NCCAA or USCAA competition than anything else.

In the NAIA, do new members submit applications in October and the approved new members get announced in April? If that is the case then Oakland City is looking join the NAIA for the Fall 2021 season.
