I don't see UMass as a viable AAC candidate. They just don't bring much value and would be another mouth to feed at an already crowded and sparse table.

UMass should be trying to push a hybrid CUSA/A10 conference including UMass, URI, VCU, Dayton, ODU, Charlotte and the Florida schools.

That way they can be more competitive on the FB side than playing in the AAC.

OMG, You might want to ask the A-10 schools about how much they'd like to be in a conference with UNCC again. Why would URI, VCU and Dayton want to play in a basketball conference with FIU/FAU either?
