It’s news to Summit fans, as Denver would pay up to $2 million annually to get membership in the MWC. When the WCC has an opening, Denver will probably try to get in that too, as a travel partner with BYU. Seattle will just have a tiny <1000 seat gym on campus until Key Arena’s renovation is done in three years.

That isn't news. Everyone knew DU, in an attempt to get out of the WAC had offered the MWC money to get an invite. The WCC? Of course DU would take a spot there. That's also a given. They have tried before and been turned down before, and will likely get turned down again.

Pretty sure the WCC will take their old friend Seattle and see what BYU does. In reality, the WCC do not need to replace BYU and I would not be surprised at all if they sit on 9, happy as they can be.

I don't think they'll sit at 9 w/ all these conf. going to 20 gm conf. schedules. They don't have to get Denver as 10 either. They can go for Cal Baptist or see if GCU even becomes non profit and remains near the top of the WAC.
