It's getting ridiculous at this point. And as moderator that kind of stuff should be put in check. These are the lives and reputations of real people we're talking about. CG, if your real name were on this page, available for all to read, would you be okay with posters accusing you of breaking the law based on a rumor from a message board poster? A line is being crossed that shouldn't be allowed.

I believe I agreed with you up there and I do believe evidence should be a sticking point when people’s names and reputations are at stake.

That being said, this is the first time since I’ve been around that our board has been so divided on an issue. Rest assured I’m doing my due diligence here and even stay in close contact with a mod that I trust in terms of wading through this new found division on our boards.

I’ll be keeping closer tabs on every post on this topic and will moderate accordingly. If any of you suddenly find your post unapproved... it’s probably for good reason.

Lastly, if you take issue with my actions as a moderator there’s an avenue for you. First, I’d appreciate it if you reached out via PM. There’s also a “report post” option in which you can anonymously request moderation. If you think I’m unfair, send me a PM and I’ll pass it to the site mods for their input. Calling me out as a moderator publicly and attaching any personal flavor to it isn’t cool. Anytime I’ve dealt with issues I’ve always reached out with PM first out of respect and would appreciate that to be reciprocated.
