I think they are stuck since there are no good teams that could help the RPI at the D1 level in their footprint. There are several down at D2 that could help.

There aren't many other private schools out there that would maintain the public/private balance if Murray St is added. Belmont would another but they don't seem interested. Outside of those 2 I don't see another private school

Didn't the balance change, anyway, when public Wichita was replaced with private Valpo?
