Dollar Tree, HII-NNS, Armada Hoffler, and NS are the only ones with that kinda bank to roll us $25M. UAB is in a huge Corporate and rich Alumni environment to secure that type of Donation. ODU...not so much.

Well, NS wont be doing much any more. AH probably wouldnt team up with Ballard, so that leaves Dollar Tree, which hasn't been too keen on supporting higher ed from what I can recall. So that begs the question... in a time where the government is pulling back on resources for colleges (especially athletics) and the private sector is required to have nice things, can ODU keep up with its peers while being located in an area losing corporate dollars rather than growing them? Alumni will have to step up, but without a law or medical school (in addition to a stronger emphasis on first generation students) we need corporate dollars more than ever.
