Why that wasn't part of the plan from the start, I'll never know. I've seen concerts at Scott Stadium.

I would presume the answer to be the proximity if FF to Larchmont and ODU's concern for the neighborhood and their citizens' association, or whatever it's called.

Yep. I’ve heard the neighbors were against concerts being allowed at the stadium when it was to be on the water at Powhatan. With it staying in the same spot, I doubt they can legally say anything but it would sure tick off a bunch in Larchmont.

If we stay at the same location, AND we remain within the parameters of the current zoning (whatever they may be) for Foreman, then we don't have to fight "City Hall". I don't know, but size (capacity) may play into this significantly.
