Well, honestly, there's no reason, in year 4 of FBS, we shouldn't have the ESPN Top 100 in their entirety playing for Dabo Swinney, Lane Kiffin, and Scott Frost, in a 150,000-seat version of Lane Stadium.



I'm with you: it's a process, not a light switch. There are most definitely things I wish would improve at a more hurried pace, but as long as things continue in an upward arc I'm content to watch the program advance.

Those who expect too much too soon are sure to be disappointed at every turn.

That's what I like to say too. Is it better than what we have? If yes, then thank God for little miracles. Growth may be slower than some like, but it's still growth.

But what they are now describing is not even close to $55 million better than what we have now. It might be more comfortable and have better bathrooms but that’s it. It may even be less attractive. To be clear, what they are now proposing is similar to what NSU currently has, only with the gameday building, some chair backs and 10,000 Fewer seats. The nice half of JMUs stadium is much nicer than what is described in the paper now. If this is the best they can do, just delay it. Spend a few Million now on renovating the press box sound system and a new scoreboard while fundraising for a few more years to get something on par with our peers. It’s brand new. It shouldn’t be below average the day it opens.
