I'm aware that UConn would have to find a home for lacrosse, I just think the ACC would say no to UConn as an affiliate member. It's why I brought up the Big East and a theoretical A10 - both those conferences would likely say yes to a start-up UConn.

The ACC would say no for the first two years, but the reality is they need a sixth men's lax program to give all their teams a shot at postseason. The other options are so non-aspirational.
