Which still makes no sense. We have both teams, all using the same athletes for all 3. Of course, we don't have men's soccer or tennis, W Riffle or W swimming and diving either.

How competitive are the Rifle and swim team...no disparaging, just asking.


Not to get to deep in the weeds but let’s say we should should be trying to meet prong I of title IX which is proportionality

If your university is 52 % women 48%
You should try to have the same in your participation- not scholarships but participants

For instance I’m pretty sure you guys carry 100-110 on your football roster- that is the number you use for title IX not 85

Women’s hoops you might carry 16-18 kids to bump up that number for practice

A women’s cross country athlete that does all 3 counts 1 time on each roster regardless of the fact that she is on 1 scholarship
