As a collective fan base, we (should) know/recognize two things:
1) Alabama has had the #1 recruiting class for about the last 10 years. That's not a coincidence.
2) WMU's success last year (13-1, Cotton Bowl) was in LARGE part due to our recruiting efforts paying off over the course of the last several recruiting cycles.

According to your theory, we should be blowing the opposition off the field on sheer talent. Why isn't that happening?

And before you start-predictably-blaming the coaching, a coach can't be held accountable for a pass that hits the receiver in the hands and he drops it.

HS recruiting is important. Game experience is equally important. You discount the latter.
