I think it has to do with each of their respective contracts (Pitino and Jurich). Both have contracts that stipulate 10/30 days to notify of termination and the ability to present evidence to support their stay in respective roles. Just a formality, but both will be gone.

Gotcha, didn't realize that. Or maybe there's some kind of Board of Regents vote that has to formalize a firing? Either way, my 03-lmfao is premature.
