IMO, when this investigation is over, there will have been programs and coaches that are collateral damage, not much more. There might be some 'reforms' but nothing that will change the power five hold over the ncaa and college sports and certainly nothing that really gives the G5 relief.

Yep. And that's the answer to yg's question. That and the average length of a federal investigation is about a year and not uncommon for them to go as long as 30 months. The fact that it's gone on for two years isn't unusual.

This is less about NCAA and more about the purveyor of the crime. The crime isn't possible without the front end side of the money and where does that come from in this case? Adidas (maybe others). That's why I mentioned earlier the guy(s) from Adidas are in big trouble. They won't get deals - at least not the ring leader. The coaches will just so they can uncover how big this conspiracy is.

You can also presume that this is not the only method the coaches have used to funnel money whether it be from a booster or from another front end money source (who or whatever that may be). If they close this one relatively soon I would bet a shiny nickle that it will spawn new investigations.
