They have made it very clear they are a leftist, lib organization. They promote left leaning political commentary by their employees so of course Hill was not going to get reprimanded. And really, that's their right, but that's also why they are heading down hill so fast. That's why I literally NEVER watch ESPN unless it's college football season. I used to watch the NFL pregame show and I even stopped that and now watch the CBS and Fox Pregame shows.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Shilling has a history of tweeting crazy stuff. This is really the first time Hill has gone off the deep end.
Whether or not you like it, politics does seep into our sports lives and if you don't like it then you are going to have to stop watching sports. ESPN has chosen to not ignore the Elephant in the room and address the stories where sports and politics mesh. After all, the sports world is just a microcosmic of our actual lives.
Not really, she was suspended in 08' per the post in page 4. You can excuse it if you want, as I said ESPN can put on TV whatever they want. Im a live and let live guy, ESPN has the right to have it's employees show up at Antifa movements if they want.
So yes, Beck's point does hold water, there is zero double standard at ESPN. They support and hire employees that have a left leaning political view and choose to speak about it on air. It's really not up for debate, that is a fact.
You are correct about one thing though, we don't have to watch which is why I said I don't. Only watch actual live sporting events where about 98% of the time they stay away from voice their opinion one way or another if something comes up.
