To me what makes this lose so bad is the fact our inept play calling from our OC. In the 4th with 2nd and 1 we run while LT have 8 men in the box. Perfect down to fake run and throw a short pass for the first down. If we fail u still have 3rd and 1.But no, we play predictable and lose 2-3 yds. With Brohm u could never b sure what play he would call. This kept the defense on their heels. This OC is so predictable.
Then we intercept with about 3:30 and should b playing for a 1st down instead we play run out the clock. Two runs and a pass. They were putting 8 in the box so running was unlikely to work especially with Baker out. I could see one run but after no gain throw the damn ball. They knew what we were going to do and we still did it. Sitting with a friend of mine and I told him what was going to happen after the interception. I looked like a prophet. Game went exactly like I said. Our OC has no imagination. I am so pissed with our offensive play calling. They'll probably throw the players under the bus again after they played their asses off instead of taking most of the blame themselves. I'm through ranting.
