I just evacuated from Miami to Atlanta on Thursday it took me 7 hours to get to Orlando a trip you can do in 3.5 hours normally, 6 hours from Orlando to Gainesville normally a two hour trip and 23 hours to get to Atlanta the entire trip the highways and sideways were gridlock and at least 45 minutes to an hour to get gas. My only problem with this is they decided it's better to cancel the football game and force the students to have to go through what you just had to. Rather than just evacuate their families to Connecticut.

So please explain how they are handling it is any better than what im saying.

Because thats where the team is.... plus its 2,000 miles away.

But apparently usf thinks its better to send the kids back to Florida where they wont be able to get out. All the while claiming they where doing a good thing.

That's where the team is? Why on earth would a USF team be in Connecticut when there's a hurricane in Tampa?

This notion of prioritizing games is just mind-boggling.
