Thats why its stupid to cancel this game. Like i said earlier if your going to cancel the football game for family reasons then half of college should be canceling their games!

I don't live in Florida and I'm not privy to the discussions leading up to the decision, so I am not going to trash the officials who made it. I'm just saying that from what I know (which isn't much), I disagree with it.

I honestly think usf was afraid of losing so they saw the perfect excuse to avoid it by canceling the game.

I just evacuated from Miami to Atlanta on Thursday it took me 7 hours to get to Orlando a trip you can do in 3.5 hours normally, 6 hours from Orlando to Gainesville normally a two hour trip and 23 hours to get to Atlanta the entire trip the highways and sideways were gridlock and at least 45 minutes to an hour to get gas. Now we expect the entire state to feel hurricane winds and you are talking about USF scared to play UConn. Shut the hell up man that's one dumbest comments I heard on this board. People are going to die in this storm and we don't know if we will have homes to get to

My only problem with this is they decided it's better to cancel the football game and force the students to have to go through what you just had to. Rather than just evacuate their families to Connecticut.

So please explain how they are handling it is any better than what im saying.
