NIU lost a game they should have won. It happens. I didn't catch the game live but watched most of it on DVR. It looks like they were the better team.

Here's the reality on Carey, he's not great, but he's not terrible. That's a fact. If he was terrible they wouldn't have talent at every spot but QB. If he was terrible they would lose more. ****, if he was truly terrible they go pretty much winless with the QB injuries. But he sure as **** isn't great either. If he was they'd go 12-0 or win more of some of these close games. But all games aren't on him, and that is so annoying that this board does that.

NIU is still going 7-5 guys. That's not bad. That means they're going at least 6-2 in MAC. Honestly after seeing some of these other games NIU is still one of the top 3 teams in this conference, which as a fan that's all you can ask. To be at the top of your conference and do well in non-conferences.

Also, for gods sake please don't be so f*cking negative in your personal lives. It's a sport.

With the new ways Carey finds to lose , you just cannot say with any confidence NIU will go 6-2 in conference. Top 3 talent wise in conference sure , but in-game NIU finds ways to give games away

Are you serious? I know you're captain negativity. But the MAC stinks. NIU has at least 4 gimmes, and seeing what I saw from the rest of the conference, WMU might be, might be better than NIU, and Toledo is. You can't tell me you watched CMU and thought they were better than the Huskies.

Also, I get Carey isn't great but at some point you have to give "L's to the players. They're on the field. How many people here played legit sports and blamed the coaches for every loss in their games.

If NIU doesn't start 4-0 in conference play I would be shocked. Then I expect them to split the last four. Walk through that schedule then sell me on the 0-8 you're expecting.
