Richmond's mayor, who is African-American, has already said he's in favor of keeping the monuments but adding historical text around the building of the monuments. Makes sense to me.
Aye. I agree.

I didn't care for the Arthur Ashe monument. There are many other black Virginians that deserved it. Like Joseph Ranger of the Virginia Navy in the Rev. War or William Harvey Carney who was the first African-American awarded the Medal of Honor. Those guys should have been put there rather than Ashe. Just my opinion though.
