Just saw Cody Jinks and Paul Cauthen in little old BG. Not big names but both were excellent. Sturgill Simpson isn't pop. Jamey Johnson isn't pop. Chris Stapleton isn't pop. All those guys are big right now and weren't cooked up in some studio down on Music Row.

As 518 mentioned Cage the Elephant grew out of little old BG. There's still good music. You need to look in our Music thread over here. Always some good stuff.

I've never like top 40 or pop music whatever you want to call it. So, I'm railing against the Clear Channel cookie cutter model. In other words what's on radio sucks. I know there is still good music. Just a lot of junk out there too.
