UConn,
Notre Dame
Baylor
Duke
Tennessee
Stanford
South Carolina
LSU(?)
Miss St (knocked off UConn but used all its momentum to do so, ala Wisconsin vs. KY)
Louisiana Tech

I know there is a SEC bias here, but realistically, only a handful of teams seem "competitive" in the sport. Women's basketball is probably the equivalent of baseball/hockey, as it is regional, etc.

But I do think there is a slight bonus for a conference in taking a strong women's basketball program. Example: Before the stuff hit the fan with Baylor, if the SEC had expanded with Baylor and say OK, then I'd say okay great, a couple of strong football brands (at the time), and I'll enjoy watching TN-Baylor women's basketball games. But I don't say "oh, we have to grab Baylor because of their women's basketball team." Similiar to how I like the idea of Virginia in the SEC for its baseball, but I want Virginia because of markets and academic prestige, not only because of baseball. It's a bonus for those that are considering a team already, but doesn't affect which teams are considered.

I.e, the SEC isn't going to go grab UConn for its women's basketball, because it is not great in football and a geographic outlier.

So its not a factor but a bonus.
