Not trying to throw water on your fire, but going on an official vist doesn't nerecessarily mean they are a take. He could be the 3rd or 4th option in case they lose someone. All schools play the same game.

He had an offer he was JUCO mid year signing day was around the corner. My friend coached him in HS and my friend son played with him was his host.He 100% had committable offer. I know a lot more on this situation than you do. Just ask and I will tell you vs speculating.

100% Illinois offered our guys week before signing day trying to flip.
