Seed money has been raised, currently conducting a study/preliminary design to hone in the exact capacity and on-campus location. The events center has been a marquee project our new President identified for his capital improvement goals. I expect shovels to hit ground within the next few years.

We do play a game in Golden1 Center (Causeway game with double header featuring 2 name programs). I would like to see us play a couple more there against P5/name high mid major opponents until we get our new digs.

EDIT: I should also add that our AD that was hired this past spring has made the events center a point of emphasis in his engagements with the press and other outreach occasions. I would say getting it done is a top on-campus priority.
