Actually ND is scheduled through 2037.

ND is going to get the same amount of distributions from the ACC Network as the other fourteen ACC schools.

Nothing is pro-rated. A full share, without joining for football.

People inside ND say the new 2015-25 NBC deals pays ND $22 or 23 million per year for 7 football games.

The old 2005-10 NBC deal paid ND $15 million a year.

Terry,

It's not money its about the competitive level of ND.

ND is more ready than ever to suck it up and join a mid tier P5 conference.

He asked about money. I answered.

Joining the ACC will do nothing about the "competitive level" of ND.

ND's administration doesn't really want to be a dominant football program. They want what they have now, as long (and until) as the money holds out.

It doesn't want the hassles and the problems associated with competing with the big programs, and all that entails.

Unless/until that changes, neither will any "competitive level". Conference affiliation is largely irrelevant to that equation, it is an internal ND thing.
