Texas Tech, Texas, A&M, Missouri, Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, and Miss St

I think that's a division Texas would fill comfortable in and if Tom Herman can get them back on track, contend for annual titles.

It may not be scholastically superior but then again neither was the SWC (SEC West AAU members = SWC AAU members). What this SEC would do is print money and Texas could be on board with that.

I don't believe this is how it will play out, but I could see Tulane as a potential Texas partner to the PAC....[EDIT: or perhaps ACC?]

Texas with Tech, Tulane and Rice could get the PAC the expansion it needs whilst appeasing the presidents. And, Texas could dominate the East division/pod.
