In my opinion they should have sit back and defended after going 8-0. Save some energy for Sweden and the knockout round games. I felt some of the celebrations were over the top, excessive, and classless. Some of the former U.S. players have defended their actions however they themselves have cried about other teams celebrations when they were defeated. Especially Norway in 95 World Cup and Brazil who thrashed them 4-0 in the Semifinals of 04.
