It may not take a 5-loss season for him to be fired, though. David Boren wants OU to compete with the Alabamas and Ohio States of the world. Last year they were eliminated from playoff contention before conference play even began, and Ohio State hammered them in Norman. What if they lose 2-3 games to any of Ohio St, KState, Texas, or OkieSt (all of whom are away from Norman) this year? Does Stoops' history prevent OU from firing him? I'm not convinced.

Crazy? Yeah. Unreasonable? Assuredly. Impossible? Far from it.

You obviously know very little about David Boren and Bob Stoops.

Your post is so absolutely ridiculous I do not know where to begin. So I will just say Boren is mostly interested in academics..not sports and he is a huge supporter of Stoops.
