Here's links to two separate sources, but there are others. You can do your own homework from here. You're a big boy.

http://cajunradio.com/what-is-the-riches...ver-guess/

"So, what’s the richest REAL town in Louisiana? That would be Ruston. And that kind of surprised me, to tell the truth. I thought for sure South Louisiana had that one locked down. But the stats show otherwise.

The information in those links are not comparable. Some figures are for entire city whereas others are just representative of specific sub divisions or neighborhoods. Most recent census figures disclose the per capita income for the city of Ruston is $17,479 and median household income at $29,560. These averages, although low, are boosted greatly by the professionals at La Tech who enjoy salaries considerably higher than the approximately 22,000 other citizens of the town. State of Louisiana median household income is $45,727. Anyone can interpret those figures as they like.

Typical tit for tat. You guys ask for a proof source, so I sent you two. And of course, being the delinquent ahole that you are, you're still not satisfied, and you're attempting to discredit the sources. NOT MY PROBLEM! 03-lmfao

By the way, both links are comparable. Even you can read that in BOTH polls/links, the TOWN of Ruston is clearly stated as being the richest TOWN or city in the state of Louisiana. Period. And that's exactly what the LA Tech poster said initially. What you probably don't know is that it's been that way for a very long time....because I remember these same rumors (about Ruston being the richest town in Louisiana) way back when I was in school.

Sorry to disappoint you with more good news about Ruston. But you'll get over it. 07-coffee3

Here is another source who mentions Shenandoah, a suburb of Baton Rouge, as the only city in Louisiana ranked in their top 50 or so. We understand that a lot of Dogpatch folks get things mixed up at times, especially if the wind is blowing to disrupt the smoke signals.http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/realestate/the-richest-town-in-every-state/ar-BBBddkD?li=BBnb7Kz#image=BBBdhy8|19

My mother lives in the Shenandoah neighborhood and no its not even a municipality.
