I don't think there are a lot of people from CUSA that want to merge with the SB. It will eventually play itself out.

Troy was a touchdown away from beating the now defending national champions. They also squashed USM last season. They were ranked allbeit briefly. They would have won the SBC championship had they not been lost in Statesboro after being distracted by the beautiful Coeds at Georgia Southern. They were on fire for most of the season though.

So again, who'd they BEAT to make them the real deal? USM finished 4-4 in our conference
