The most likely scenario for realignment is if the top schools from both conferences leave the startups behind and form a new league made up of the powers from the old FCS.

Rearranging based on geography isn't going to do much except trade around the bottom dwellers of each conference until we're exactly where we used to be with different schools.

That's why MT, ODU, Marshall, WKU, La Tech, and USM should split off with App, Troy, Ark State, ULL, GS, and South Alabama

That sounds like an awful conference.

The one UTSA would be left in is

No, I really wouldn't want to be in that conference at all.
