Creating a tighter league for the sunbelt and c-usa is going to save $$$ that helps compete. Also gives traveling fans more options. Closer rivals will usually increase attendance. I think non revenue sports will someday be in regional leagues even for major programs.

Yeah, I do find it humorous sometimes to think that most CUSA and even Belt teams want to move up to the AAC, which is a conference it's current teams want desperately to leave.

I agree. I didn't say they were wrong in wanting to leave just that it was kind of funny for others to want to get somewhere that the folks already there want to get out asap. I know the $$ is too great to not want, but the way ECU whored itself out was crazy.

ECU administrators did exactly what was expected. being stuck in CUSA with startups like F_U, ODU and UNCC was unacceptable.
