Should be noted that Belmont rejected an offer to join the OVC just a few years ago.

Do you think MVC is strongly considering going 12 teams? Heard about any other teams as possible invites?

no, my understanding more likely to stay at 9...

Missouri State gets an invite to the SBC.
Northern Iowa and Illinois State gets an invite to the MAC.
All three will accept.
This could be the death nail for the MVC if more schools leave. We already know that 4 MVC schools have wondering eyes that have football. Youngstown State is also having wondering eyes as well.
MVC could slip down to only 5 schools if Indiana State also raised the money to upgrade to FBS. Southern Illinois may also decide to raise money to go FBS as well. What would the Summit football members do?

MSU is the only school on your list who are in the MVC and MVFC and could, maybe pull off an FBS move to the Sun Belt. YSU is in the Horizon.

UNI and Illinois State to the MAC? Oh goody, the MAC get two more underfunded programs, like they need more of those in the league. The MAC is not going to invite either school and neither can afford it. Indiana State are more likely to join the OVC drop FB altogether, or go non-scholarship. They are not going to raise money and "upgrade" to FBS or get anyone to invite them into an FBS conference. SIU, see Illinois State and Northern Iowa.

MAC wants to raise their basketball profile. Inviting Illinois State and Southern Illinois would help their RPI. Northern Iowa and Indiana State also have been also there in the tournament. Bradley and Milwaukee could go to the MAC as well.
