Nice set up when you get travel partners for each school, and tightening up the conference map a bit.

NO! NO! NO! Heck, if we're going to Montana we are taking UM and MSU with us. Both of whom would LOVE to be part of a Dakota/Montana FB conference.


The Montanas want to be with California schools for exposure and recruitment wise.

Nope. The Montana schools want the BSC to be a better conference. They want to rid themselves of SUU, Sac State, Davis and Poly. The BSC has fallen, fast and the two Montana schools are frustrated. Idaho being back will help, UND leaving (though travel sucked) will not.

The Montana schools were the only schools in the Big Sky who wanted NDSU and SDSU to join. Give them a FB conference of the four Dakota's, two Montana's and bring on Weber, Idaho and EWU and they would be thrilled. All sports? Well that's a different story.
