RE: The Next Realignment Effect on the Horizon League
Omaha has Baseball, and supposedly on the Horizon target list. Others I have not found mentioned anywhere else but this forum or a fan blog.

I don't buy the MVC interest in Milwaukee that Todd Aaron Gordon (Terre Haute, TribStar ... Indiana State beat writer) as more than a name mentioned on the "markets" front. Supposedly expansion will be a Basketball move, about improving RPI. The 5 year average for Milwaukee is 224 RPI, last year was 256 (have been as bad as 306). Have not cracked 100 in a long long time. This would look like another LUC add. I just don't see it.

By comparison Valpo has a 5 year RPI of 84, cracked the top 100 4 times, last three years 74, 49, 50; they had one down year in 2013-14 which if I throw out they would have an RPI of 66 for 5 of the last 6 years. Murray State is 144 RPI, but that is due to last year being a down year, their prior 5 years average 103 RPI, twice cracked the top 100, reaching 23 once.

I'll wait for more than one beat writer to say Milwaukee is a target before I believe it. (Another public school, so they have regents meetings; and there is nothing here https://www.wisconsin.edu/regents/meetings/ ... I went through agendas, nada on Athletics for last half year)
