Again, this speaks to your character. In this conversation you admitted that was the reason you would do it... You will lie, flippantly, tyo avoid trouble.

It would *kill* me to do that to a gay couple... String them along so I'm legally covered and then screw them up. And, in the end, they can still sue your ass off because civil suits are not based on "beyond a reasonable doubt".

All they would have to do is find one customer you took on after that call whose wedding was aroudn the same time as theirs.
