I guess we could technically have a conversation about ODU being at-large worthy, but it would be a short one.

MTSU was good enough to get snubbed. I'd settle for that right now.

Its pretty clear that until the committee changes their mindset, there is nothing we can do to get in the tourney without winning the tourney. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't MTSU have something like a top 10 non conference strength of schedule? And the committee didn't even put them in the first 4 out and they got a 3 see in the NIT...there were nowhere close to the NCAA tourney despite playing Belmont, Auburn, USC, Miami, Murray State, FGC, Vadny, Ole Miss, Princeton.

On the road a lot this morning listening to a multitude of radio shows - every single one of them multiple times essential say the same thing and it’s onky going to get worse with how the bigger schools are going to limit their schedules in the near future minimizing the opportunity for Mids to scheduled bigger profile games. So as it’s been for the history of our school - We are a 1 bid league ( the only exception of a few years in the CAA) where one big win made a difference in an also down year across all of college basketball. So when you enjoy the game of basketball and more importantly your alma mater ... accepting what is commonly referred to as mediocrity is about all you get until a 3 game weekend .

That may or may not be the case.

But ODU Basketball is quite a long way from having to worry about that. We need to get better and schedule up. Then we can worry about getting snubbed.

Having to worry about 3 games in March ?? At large is going to be more limited once the majors expand their conference schedule ..

That may well be the case.

But we should at least have a tough enough schedule to where 25 wins gets you an NIT bid.
