Meh, I don't believe other administrations have the money or stupidity that Liberty has. I believe others are smart enough that being an independent isn't the option, when you have no guaranteed bowls.

Bowl guarantees have to be the most overrated things in college football. Every bowl-eligible team (and some that aren't) makes a bowl. I mean, I guess it's nice to have a contract but under the current setup it'll be a very rare independent team that wins 6 games and doesn't play in a bowl.
