Until the P5 conferences reach whatever their final organizational structure will be, the G5 conference will continue to operate in a state of flux. Once the P5 (or maybe even a P4) is firmly established with whatever schools it will be made up of, EVERYBODY else will be able to sit down and make some rational decisions about G5 conference configurations. Until then, every AAC school, plus Boise, SDSU, and Colorado State will continue to think that they're next in line on the P5's waiting list.

Whizzing matches between G5 conferences is a pointless exercise in futility. In the end, the free market will prevail as 5 regional G5 conferences emerge from the heap of ashes that the P5 conferences will have left us all in.
