Mackenzie Hughes missed the cut at the Valero Open by 4 strokes. Also, Ben Curtis withdrew from the tournament because of a shoulder injury.

On the web.com tour, Ryan Yip was in first until he went 4 over on the back nine today and fell to a tie for 7th. Conners only finished 6 holes before darkness set in, but sits at even par and tied for 21st. About half the players didn't complete the round, but the course continues to play very tough.
