1. North Carolina 38
2. Virginia 37

The final tally of regular season record in the three years of the current configuration:

2. North Carolina 39-15
3. Notre Dame, Duke 37-17
5. Louisville 36-18
6. Miami 33-21
7. Syracuse, Florida St. 28-26
9. Clemson 24-30
10. Virginia Tech 22-32
11. Pittsburgh 21-33
12. Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, NC State 19-35
15. Boston College 6-48

I am not sure that many fans, including ACC fans, are aware that ND has won more conference games than Louisville, Florida State and Syracuse over that period, just as many as Duke and has only been "outwon" (is that a word, lol?) by VA and NC.

I don't think that Brey and ND get their due from their performance (including the ACC title in 2015 and 2 Elite Eights the past two years---the only team in the USA to do that) from fans of ACC bluebloods and general basketball fans.

Notre Dame has played well over the last three years and is always a tough matchup.
Mike Brey is truly one of the nice guys in the game of basketball and runs a classy program, but he ruined my night in the Coliseum in 2015.
