We play Army at home next year. They have been playing more than 120 years and it is not a "body bag" game.

Care to point out where I said that moneybag games were the only option? They are necessary in our current state, and will be for some time until we crawl out of this hole. As for your good idea of having a long term plan, didn't I agree with you on that, and several other ideas, when you first posted them? But a long term plan doesn't pay any bills next year, and that is the immediate problem. Got to revive the patient before you can heal him/her.

And the reason I say that I had those ideas first is because I did.

Actually, they do. We had significant increases in both football season tickets and Owl Club donations last year. Basketball attendance is rising. None of those are enough to offset the need to do Sydney. That's what I said, not as fast as I want, but faster than ever before.

So we need to play people who have been playing football for more than 20 years but who wouldn't be "bodybag" games. Got anybody in mind? Why would they want to come to HRS? Who would come to watch?

We need massive revenue enhancement. At this point, that means any check we can cash, we need to take. Long term, that means finding more places from which to get checks. It's really pretty simple.
