What's even more significant is our ranking. I've just used Saluki's metrics (find the rank and check out what the five above and five below last year did) and found that, since we're ranked # 91, every statistical guideline indicates we're going 19-14 this season. I guess that means we lose in the conference quarterfinals and no post season again. Too bad.

I went through our schedule:we have do many gimme (even with this roster) games that I came up to within a game of .500. That was also predicated on beating the lower conference teams at home.

The problem as I see it, is that Dedric will be double and triple teamed when he gets the ball-teams will most likely zone us given the lack of outside shooting. Going to be hard for this team to score. Which means the only way we stay in most games is to slow the ball down.

We all know how that would play at Memphis.

Gonna be tough to double team Dedric as he will likely be getting the ball at the FT line extended most times and he can shoot. If they Zone he should be able to shoot over most guards and if any of the returners or new comers can shoot at all we will be fine scoring wise. Rebounding and Defense will likely be bigger issues.
