On another note: Several fans on the Vols board are now claiming that Gilchrist's hit at the end of the game was illegal due to the fact that he left his feet and led with his head.....it took a reasonable poster to mention that the heads placement on the body means that it is most likely going to make contact first in that position.

The funny thing was right before that play I reflected on the final drive against JMU in the '07 playoffs. The situation was dire and App let JMU march right down the field into field goal range which would win the game, the next thing you know, Micky inexplicably runs another play and the Apps create a turnover. That hit on Dobbs and the situation was all too familiar except that Stringer dove OVER the ball for the second time that game.
